Dion Lee Line II
Dion Lee Line IIA soft shirting and tailoring capsule, designed with ease and simplicity in mind, the collection focuses on wardrobe essentials that can be worn and worn again, ad infinitum. Cut is classic and colour palette is neutral, whilst maintaining Lee’s signature design details, such as functional hardware and emphatic cutting away of the typical silhouette. Spring 2011 consists of 15 styles, across shirts and dresses. Fabrications are limited to silks; georgette, double georgette and faille, and cottons; poplin, voile and silk cotton. Line II is designed to work back with Dion Lee mainline and stand alone, as its own entity. To launch Line II, Lee partnered with photographer Bec Parsons and art director, Kate Rogers to create ’II� a 200 page book featuring 20 girls wearing the line. Like the collection, the imagery is relaxed, clean and sophisticated.
