Natasha Gan
Natasha Gan was immersed in a world of workroom treasures from a very young age. Her weekends were spent rummaging though fabrics and trims, dreaming up her own creations whilst being encouraged by her Mother’s work as a dressmaker. By the time she was 13, Natasha had enrolled in her local TAFE and was studying pattern making on the weekends. Three years later she was selected to study fashion design at East Sydney Technical College where she formalised her skills and gained the confidence to put her active knowledge of the business into practice. Moving to London at 21, Natasha gained invaluable experience in one of the world’s top fashion destinations. Honing her skills within several small fashion houses led to positions designing for fashion power-houses H&M and Topshop—two of the most well regarded, high-profile fashion retailers globally. With a focus on creating a progressive, strong and sexy collection of beautifully constructed pieces, Natasha launched her signature label in 2003 with a focus on quality and detail. Each Natasha Gan garment is entirely Australian made and is stocked in David Jones, nationally and more than 80 independent boutiques across Australia.
